Far Eastern University delivered a dominant attacking performance to overwhelm the University of the Philippines 1-7 with Althea Rebosura netting a second-half hat trick and Ma. Angel Egay scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes.
FEU needed just seven minutes to break the deadlock. Arevalo surged down the flank before delivering a pinpoint cross into the penalty area, where Egay rose highest to power a header past the UP goalkeeper for the opener.
The Lady Tamaraws doubled their lead two minutes later. Arevalo again sparked the attack with a run down the right wing before picking out a teammate inside the box. The ball spilled loose, allowing Egay to pounce and unleash a powerful strike from the edge of the area to make it 2-0.

UP struggled to clear its lines as FEU continued to dominate possession. The Lady Tamaraws capitalized again in the 37th minute when a poor clearance by the UP defense fell kindly to Judy Arevalo, who reacted quickest to punish the mistake and extend the lead before halftime.
FEU carried its momentum into the second half. In the 57th minute, Albano released Althea Rebosura with a well-weighted pass down the flank, and the forward calmly chipped the ball through the legs of the advancing goalkeeper to make it 4-0.
Seven minutes later FEU Captain Sarah Tulabing drove forward down the left wing, beating several defenders before squaring the ball for Panilan, who finished from close range with an easy tap-in.
Any hopes of a comeback were short-lived as UP’s Tundag intercepted a misplaced pass from the FEU defense and struck from distance, but the Lady Tamaraws quickly regained control of the contest.
Rebosura grabbed her second goal in the 80th minute after Albano intercepted UP’s buildup play deep in its own half. The ball fell to Rebosura, who turned confidently before firing home from the edge of the penalty area.
The forward completed her hat trick deep into stoppage time after being brought down inside the box by Marqueses. Rebosura stepped up to take the resulting penalty herself and calmly converted in the 90+4th minute to cap FEU’s emphatic 1-7 victory.
FEU’s relentless pressing and clinical finishing proved too much for UP, with the Lady Tamaraws producing one of their most commanding performances of the campaign.
